World Travel Awards in Seychelles 2015 – Africa & Indian Ocean
Seychelles Hosts World Travel Awards 2015 for Africa and the Indian Ocean. The Award ceremony takes place on 22nd June 2015, at the Kempinski Seychelles Resort & Spa, Seychelles. The country will be welcoming some of the leading industry professionals nominated for these prestigious awards. Obviously, international media will be present throughout the ceremony.
Minister Alain St. Ange said;
“Our islands are today more visible than they have ever been. We have worked hard though our all our contacts and have used our cultural events on which to ride our PR campaign because of the press that comes to Seychelles to cover these events with the largest press group publishing reports on Seychelles being attracted to our islands annually during carnival time. Today this visibility is bringing many benefits for the Seychelles and one such direct benefit is the coming of the World Travel Awards. It was the continuation of our efforts to place Seychelles in the forefront and for our islands to be seen as leaders in the world of tourism. Today we can say that we are thankful that Mr Cooke has decided to move the 2015 award ceremony to Seychelles”
World Travel Awards was established in 1993 to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the tourism industry. My Graham E. Coooke, the president and founder of the World Travel Awards mentioned that “Winners for this award is voted for by travel and tourism professionals worldwide. And this accolade recognises the commitment to excellence which tourism organisation has demonstrated in the last twelve months”.
The media network covering the World Travel Awards will include several International Media companies. Among others; New York Times, TV5Monde, CNBC Arabiya, Newsweek, Outlook Traveller, Travel & Leisure, Khaleej Times, Trade Arabia, TTN, Trav Talk India, Publituris, ASTA Network, Breaking Travel News, eTurboNews, Travel Daily News International and Focus on Travel News.
The red carpet event will take place at the Kempinski Seychelles Resort & Spa on the 20th June.
